The Highest Goal:
A World Without Gynecologic Cancer
Prevention is the tallest goal of any cancer. Ovarian cancer has no early detection test or universal means of prevention.
A lack of awareness of endometrial cancer’s symptoms and limited access to care have led to a marked increase in endometrial cancer cases and deaths. Racial disparities in medicine have resulted in striking inequities in gynecologic cancer incidence and survival.
In 2023, we sent a group of ovarian cancer survivors, medical providers and caregivers to the rooftop of the world and put the first ovarian cancer survivor on top of of Mt Everest. That was just the start of our quest!
We strive to raise 29 million dollars for gynecologic cancer research and awareness. We hope to bring awareness about gynecologic cancer risk to 29 million people. 29 Million feet is the vertical height of Mount Everest. Even the tallest mountain is climbable. Together we can summit gynecologic cancer.
Since Our Launch
We have always said that this project is like climbing the Mt Everest of ovarian cancer. It’s huge, but it can be summited if we work together and just put one foot forward at a time.
Every donation pushes us one step closer to finding the answers we need to change the future of ovarian cancer. Any Mountain Expedition Team is a unique group of gynecologic cancer experts. Their research will save countless lives.

Dedicated to preventing, facing and ending gynecologic cancers, LEWK has provided creative education, support, advocacy and arts programing for Alaska’s diverse communities since 2012. With over 25 years of experience responsibly managing research funding for gynecologic cancer, MOCA is committed to the most rigorous standards of integrity and transparency. MOCA is evaluated annually, has a four-start rating from Charity Navigator, a Platinum rating from GuideStar, and meets all Charities Research Council criteria. Because of this unparalleled expertise, we have chosen MOCA to oversee distribution and administration of the Any Mountain Research Grants awarded by our scientific advisory board – the Any Mountain Expedition Team.
