Melissa Mitchell is an Alaska-born singer-songwriter known for her raw honesty, soulful voice, and songs shaped by lived experience. Raised in Kasilof and self-taught on guitar, she’s spent over two decades turning resilience into music that cuts straight to the heart. From major stages to quiet rooms, her work carries one constant truth: music as connection, healing, and home.
Dr. Joanie Mayer Hope
Dr. Joanie Mayer Hope is a gyn oncologist and singer passionate in her application of creativity to ending gynecologic cancers and fighting health disparities locally, nationally, and globally. She is the founder of Any Mountain, Alaska Women’s Cancer Care, and the non-profit Let Every Woman Know Alaska, as well as the former lead singer of the national rock band N.E.D.
